We are offering a beginners course on embedded programming and microcontroller basics, using the popular ESP32 WiFi microcontroller and PlatformIO. Using the example of an environmental sensor for a sensor buoy, you will learn how to load programs on the microcontroller, how to find and install libraries and how to read out a sensor.
Prerequisites:
- programming basics (loops, if statements…)
- a laptop (windows, linux, mac), if you cannot bring one, please tell us before, we have a small number of computers
- no microcontroller or electronics skills required
